(Episode 101) Hypnos

(Episode 101) Hypnos

Author: Victor Sotomayor April 23, 2022 Duration: 18:53
Welcome to another Greek Mythology entry where we will explore a little known Greek mythology god named HYPNOS, one who showed to me through signs on a drive through town the other day. Pretty enigmatic character and one who will reveal some secrets to yet another Greek god whose identity is not revealed but will later on make an appearance. Can you guess who it is? 🤔 If you do and you are one of the first 10 people to guess, drop your response in the comment section 👇🏼 for a virtual price 🎁 to be revealed later on (if you guess right, that is…) This poem also features cameo appearances from 2 special artists who paid their voices in previous entries, namely Zeus ⚡️ (Mr. Crossing) and Nyx 🌙 (Lindsey Marie). I want to thank them for jumping on the chance to embody a god, goddess, mortal or creature from Greek mythology, there are plenty more where they came from! Here’s the playlist featuring all the previous poems that lead to HYPNOS 💤 and I strongly recommend you watch them all but in particular Zeus and Nyx: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMfZwtF3DGu8DK0yOilKXNrbX0spGOkOW Thanks 🙏🏼 for listening, for your feedback, chatting with me in the live chat 💬 and like, subscribe and share to your heart’s content. Stay tuned for Poseidon’s Monsters coming soon! Italo can be followed on IG @italoproductions and on TikTok @italoproductions101 HYPNOS BIO Hypnos was a primordial deity in Greek mythology, the personification of sleep. He lived in a cave next to his twin brother, Thanatos, in the underworld, where no light was cast by the sun or the moon; the earth in front of the cave was full of poppies and other sleep-inducing plants.

Victor Sotomayor hosts Italo’s Blog Talk Radio, a space where conversation flows without a script. The heart of this podcast is built on genuine encounters with individuals who approach life with creativity and a constructive outlook. Rather than polished interviews, you’ll hear the raw, spontaneous dialogue that happens when people speak openly about their journeys, ideas, and the forces that drive them. These discussions naturally weave through themes of society and culture, often touching on the personal journals and reflections that shape our experiences. It’s for anyone who appreciates the unvarnished truth and finds energy in authentic connection. Tuning in means joining a series of candid exchanges where inspiration isn’t a forced topic but a natural byproduct of honest talk. The rhythm of each episode is unique, guided solely by the guest and the moment, offering a refreshing departure from overly produced media. This podcast lives in the real, sometimes messy, always human moments between people who have something meaningful to share.
