Who is Morning Musume。’25?

Morning Musume。’25 was formed from an audition on the TV Tokyo show ASAYAN. Five unsuccessful applicants from the “Sharan Q Rock Vocalist Audition” were given a challenge: sell 50,000 copies of their indie single Ai no Tane in five days. Upon success, they made their major debut with the single Morning Coffee.

Their 7th single LOVE Machine became their first million-seller, and the group went on to break numerous records among female groups.

Since January 1, 2014, the group has added the Western calendar year to the end of their name. As of January 1, 2025, they are known as “Morning Musume。’25 (Morning Musume Two-Five).”
