Steven Cohen is senior vice dean of the School of Professional Studies and professor of the practice of public affairs in the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. He is also the director of the Earth Institute’s Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management as well as two other master’s programs in environmental sustainability. Cohen previously worked for the EPA and currently serves on the board of directors of the Willdan Group. He is the author of Sustainability Management, Understanding Environmental Policy, and The Sustainable City. His latest book is Environmentally Sustainable Growth: A Pragmatic Guide (2023)
