KT Behind the Tape: MSG Night 1

There's a certain kind of chaos that only happens live on stage, and that's exactly what you get with KILL TONY. Every week, this unpredictable show is recorded in front of a rowdy Austin, Texas audience, hosted by the sharp-witted Tony Hinchcliffe and longtime producer Brian Redban. The format is a beautiful gamble: aspiring and established comedians put their names into a bucket for a chance to perform one minute of material, completely unrehearsed. What follows is never the same twice. Tony and Brian, alongside a rotating panel of famous comedian guests, immediately dissect the performance, leading to interviews that are by turns hilarious, awkward, and surprisingly revealing. It's a raw, unfiltered look at the craft of comedy and the personalities who attempt it, where bombing is often more entertaining than success. This podcast, brought to you by DEATHSQUAD.TV & Studio71, thrives on that live-wire energy and the genuine reactions that can't be scripted. You're listening to the moment a joke lands perfectly or dies spectacularly, with all the host commentary and audience feedback included. It's less a polished comedy special and more a behind-the-scenes laboratory where humor is tested in real time, making for an intensely engaging and consistently funny experience every episode.
