Ellen LaLuzerne, co-producer of Madison Labor Radio, passed away this Friday, April 14th. Ellen had many aspects to her life, and those organizations will be telling her story as we will here at Madison Labor Radio.

For more than 30 years, Ellen was a mainstay of the Madison labor movement and Madison Labor Radio. She passionately fought for workers at the work place. Ellen believed that workers must have their own voice in the media. Labor Radio is dedicating this commemoration to those aspects of her life.

But first, we bring you two stories about labor struggles that were important to Ellen.
