• Dr Toby Kane, three-time Winter Paralympian, has just been announced Deputy Chef de Mission for the Australian team going to Cortina in Italy in 2026.
• Nat Cook, Minister for Human Services in South Australia, updated us on the state government's work on Bedfords; the MS Society SA & NT in voluntary administration; Seniors Week and Carers Week.

• Professor Christopher Rowe, from Austin Health, had news hot off the press regarding the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has approved LEQEMBI (lecanemab), a newly developed therapy now available in Australia for eligible patients who may have dementia, an amyloid-lowering therapy.
• Wayne Speers, Advisor Compliance & Accessibility at Yarra Trams, invited all to a try before you ride day, Thursday 16th October, Southern Cross Station, Spencer Street Docklands,
