  • Mali Lovell, Paralympic Bronze Medalist, had just returned from the Para Athletics World Championships in New Delhi with 2 Silver Medals - the "Lovell Double" How did Mali go answering what happened on October 18th 2000? 
  • Ceryce Stone, Senior Programs Practitioner, has been recognised during the  celebrations of  the 3rd Australasian Youth Justice Acknowledgement Day (AYJAD), a day dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness of the extraordinary work of youth justice staff. 
  • Lee Kumutat, National Advocacy and Policy Manager at Guide Dogs, shared some suggestions on how to help a person living with low vision. Wednesday was International White Cane Day.  
  • Pam Mitchell, Counsellor, spoke about World Mental Health month and some tips to help ourselves connect better  and do so when it counts.  
  • Kathryn Carey, Head of Events / Senior Account Director at the Impact Institute, invited all to the next Workability Expo - this one in Brisbane 31st October 31st and 1st November   
  • Dr Eli Kotler, introduced us to the World-first mental health clinic offering altered-state therapies for people with addiction complicated by trauma and depression,  
  • Dr. Michael Yazbeck,  Vetenarian from Greencross vets, alerted us as to watch out for paralysis ticks, and a "tool" to check out your suburb - Pet-Watch, a real-time, interactive map that tracks parasite risk.
