  • Damien Mortaud, from the Aussie Steelers: the Wheelchair Rugby Team, wrapped up the 2025 International Wheelchair Rugby Invitational in Adelaide.  Damien played for the Steelers for the first time.  
  • Isaiah Muller has just won the first Adelaide Uni Sport AUSF/AIS scholarship for  goalball.  
  • Ally Scott, CEO for the Victorian Disability Resource Centre invited, all to a rally Saturday 28 June at 11am. This is concerning the Sydney Road Accessible Tram Stops Now Campaign and will commemorate two years of Government inaction regarding 
    accessible tram stops along Sydney Road.  
  • Pam Mitchell, Counsellor, spoke about how hospital stays have changed over the years.  
  • Olivia Barry, Chief Operating Officer for 13 Cabs, and Anna Tyon, Head of Passenger Experience, had news on an update to the app as well as a better training system for drivers dealing with complaints, as well as a streamlined way to access a cab if you have an assistance animal.  
  • Greeshma Patel, Director for Spec Savers alerted us as to what to look out for with Presbyopia and possible helpful tips.  
  • Matesh Nath, from Pacific Vision Aus, is just back from Sight City and had news on advances in electronic magnifiers.
