Episode 200: Christopher Lee Maher

Author: Dr. Brian Lenzkes May 22, 2024 Duration: 1:02:19

Thank you for tuning in for another episode of Life's Best Medicine. Christopher Lee Maher is a retired US Navy SEAL, best-selling author, and holistic wellness pioneer regarded as the unparalleled authority in stress resolution, healing, personal evolution, and longevity. As a Navy SEAL, Christopher was in what appeared to be peak physical health and even spent time training for the Olympics. What he didn't realize was that his internal health was deeply compromised. Soon symptoms like joint pain, hearing/vision loss, and insomnia began manifesting. Christopher was weighed down by what he calls "strauma" - a combination of stress plus time that transforms into trauma. He went on to study at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and Yo San University, learning Traditional Chinese Medical Practices as well as Western science and pathology. Christopher's own relentless search to evolve and heal himself led him to understand the correlation between the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of existence. He developed a comprehensive program of total healing and integration called True Body Intelligence technology. TBI is a suite of systems focused on diminishing the excess stress stored in the body in order to resolve the fear, weakness, stress, tension, and distortion that holds people back from their unique and unimaginable potential.

In this episode, Brian and Christopher talk about Christopher's company, True Body Intelligence, the emotional/spiritual aspects of total health, how Chinese medicine and naturopathic tools can be used to help us achieve a state of peace, why Christopher became a Navy SEAL, important life lessons that Christopher learned from his SEAL training, how Christopher became interested in health/wellness, the place of faith in Christopher's life and work, how to truly relieve and eliminate stress/tension by getting your nervous system out of fight or flight mode, cold stress states versus hot stress states, and what it means to be in (and remain in) a state of peace.

Thank you for listening. Have a blessed day and stay healthy!
