Karli and Alex Klintworth are a powerhouse husband and wife health coaching duo and the co-foudnders of Hi Energy health coaching.

An engineer, former collegiate triathlete, and passionate nutrition educator, Alex became interested in metabolic and gut health after overcoming his own struggles with insulin resistance, chronic back pain, and SIBO. Through a combination of functional medicine, a ketogenic lifestyle, and extensive independent research, he restored his health and developed a deep appreciation for the role nutrition plays in preventing and reversing chronic disease.

Karli's passion for nutrition was profoundly shaped by her mother's battle with inflammatory breast cancer. Watching her endure the devastating side effects of conventional cancer treatment—and finding little dietary guidance from her medical team—sparked a lifelong commitment to understanding the role of nutrition in health and disease. Motivated by both her mother's experience and her own health transformation, she immersed herself in the science of metabolism, inflammation, and whole-food nutrition. She believes nutrition should play a far greater role alongside conventional medicine and is passionate about helping others understand how dietary choices can support overall health, improve quality of life, and address the root causes of chronic disease.
