S3E5 What Really Happened to Robert Morrison?

S3E5 What Really Happened to Robert Morrison?

Author: Locating the Lost June 20, 2022 Duration: 1:04:33

On this episode we speak to Jessica Morrison who reached out to us about the suspicious death of her brother Robert Morrison.  Jessica believes his unattended death may have been murder, she writes:

Hi there.  My name is Jessica, my brother, Rob was murdered on or before 11.23.2019 in Millinocket, Maine.
Upon receiving the medical examiner’s report, my mom, dad and I went to the (then) Millinocket PD.  We were soon kicked out and told never to comeback or call, by then chief Craig Worster.
Who may I add was dating the mother of the next person whom was shot (in the same house my brother was renting) just a couple months after my brother.
I also need to let you know my brother called me
approximately 2 months prior to his death and stated to me  that he was going into hiding, “if something happens to him then so and so needs to be questioned by the police”.

Honestly I’ve yet to take the time to write the timeline of events in which I was informed no one would take me seriously until.
Thank you for your time.
~Jess

Was it murder? We will let you decide as there are many reasons for Jessica to believe foul play was involved.

There are names that linger in the air of a town long after the news vans have left, and stories that exist only in the fragmented memories of those left waiting. Locating the Lost sits with those stories. This isn't a procedural rundown of cold cases, but a deliberate effort to recenter the human beings at the heart of every disappearance. Each episode focuses on a single person who has vanished, weaving together the details of their life, the circumstances of their last known moments, and the enduring impact of their absence on family and community. You'll hear the subtle tensions in a detective's voice, the raw hope in a sibling's recollection, and the heavy silence that follows an unanswered question. The goal here isn't sensationalism, but preservation-giving auditory space to narratives that risk fading from public consciousness. By tuning into this podcast, you become a witness to these searches, understanding that every case file represents a world upended. It's a sobering, necessary listen for anyone who believes that forgetting is a second disappearance.
