With Kingston Flemings playing mistake-free basketball and the team’s signature "glass-crashing" defense holding opponents to abysmal shooting percentages, Houston is the team no one wants to see in a half-court set. They play with a "bully-ball" mentality that is perfectly suited for the second weekend’s pressure.
Iowa State: The "Cyclonic" Asphyxiation
Iowa State is arguably playing the best basketball of any team in the field right now. Their demolition of Kentucky was a statement: you cannot out-talent a team that refuses to let you breathe. Tamin Lipsey is currently the best point guard left in the tournament, and with Milan Momcilovic stretching defenses, the Cyclones have the offensive punch to match their elite "suffocate-and-destroy" defense.
