Next, they dig into two defensemen drafted in the top 20 of the 2019 draft who have yet to establish themselves as full-time NHLers: Thomas Harley of the Dallas Stars and Ville Heinola of the Winnipeg Jets. Last, they weigh the strengths and weaknesses of Kaiden Guhle, who played impressive defensive minutes as an NHL rookie and projects as a high-end shutdown defender, and Alexander Nikishin, who has been lighting up KHL nets from the blueline and could be a solid top-4 piece as soon as he hits the NHL in Carolina.
