Curry Shines, Warriors Stumble Again | Los Angeles Lakers News

Steph Curry’s still lighting up the court, but the Warriors’ playoff hopes are fading again—this time with no major offseason upgrades to fix it. After missing the playoffs for the second straight year, Golden State’s roster looks eerily familiar: re-signed Draymond Green (now a defensive anchor with offensive flaws), Kristaps Porziņģis on a pricey deal, and rookie Yaxel Lendeborg as their shiny new wing. Coach Steve Kerr’s return adds stability, but an anonymous NBA scout says they’re built for mediocrity—not contention. Even with Curry at his peak and Butler healthy, the ceiling is pegged at 41 wins. The Warriors might just be stuck in a cycle of .500 seasons unless they make a blockbuster trade or hope Butler heals faster than expected.
