Chelsea AND Mansfield... WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?! | Luton preview

Chelsea AND Mansfield... WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?! | Luton preview

Author: They Tried To Kill Us Off August 26, 2026 Duration: 49:30
The Town go on their travels for two away games in three days with trips to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Thursday night and Mansfield in the league on Sunday afternoon. Kev is joined by Jimbo to preview both games. The boys start by addressing the cup tie, guessing how both teams could line up and what the night means in the overall picture. The attention then turns to the trip to Field Mill where Luton have a score to settle after failing to beat Mansfield last season. As ever, the chaps are on hand to point out the threats that Mansfield pose before discussing how Jack Wilshere’s men can hurt them and the personnel to do it with. All this and plenty more, including score predictions, on the recently rebranded They Tried To Kill Us Off podcast! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- We've got brand new social media accounts. We're now an independent podcast, but we've tried to keep as much the same as possible so that it's the same show you've been listening to and watching since 2017... just with a different name! We explained all about it at the start of this episode: https://youtu.be/nUuTiqnCHSg?si=SGf50aNtOM1CiYI0 We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the Luton Town Supporters' Trust for their support over the past nine seasons and for helping us get to where we are today. We're incredibly grateful for everything we've been able to do together and we're delighted that the podcast can continue into this new chapter. But please keep supporting them too.
