Avraham Shabsi Friedman, better known by his stage name, Avraham Fried, is a tremendously popular singer and shaliach. Avraham was encouraged to pursue a music career by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe. His career was jump started with the release of his first album No Jew Will Be Left Behind in 1981

 

Avraham is the youngest of eight children of the illustrious Friedman family. 

 

It has been said that "Avraham Fried is the least lazy person in the industry, the constant practicing, learning to dance, the voice lessons- his story is a story of tenacity and hard work."

His trademark humility, energy, and passion continue to inspire thousands and thousands of Jews worldwide.
