Welcome back to Mental Health Unscripted. I'm your host, Iyana, and I'm so grateful you're here as we step into Season 2 together.

This season is all about connection, how we care for ourselves, how we build community, and how we navigate relationships in a world that's becoming more digital by the day. We'll be having honest, grounded conversations about balancing online spaces and real-life connections, using digital tools (including AI) in ways that support our wellness, and staying rooted in our values and humanity along the way.

In this opening episode, I'm keeping things simple and intentional. I'm wishing you a gentle Happy New Year and sharing a few reminders you may need as you settle into this next chapter, reminders about rest, patience, progress, and giving yourself permission to move at your own pace. We talk about letting go of the pressure to have everything figured out, honoring what already works, and allowing growth to unfold naturally.

I also share what you can expect from this season, the questions we'll be exploring, and why creating harmony between digital connection and real-life presence matters now more than ever.

Whether you're feeling hopeful, overwhelmed, tired, or somewhere in between, this episode is an invitation to pause, reflect, and begin again with intention. I'm so excited to continue this journey with you and to serve you in this next season.
