Hotline Feature – Kristyn Burtt: Shelley Fabares, Hayden Panettiere Investigation, and 9/11's 25th Anniversary Coverage

Entertainment reporter Kristyn Burtt joins Dave Weekley with a wide-ranging Monday Hollywood segment. The show opens with a tribute to Shelley Fabares, who passed at 82 after a brief illness — best known for the Donna Reed Show, Coach, and her number one hit Johnny Angel — and her nearly 42-year marriage to Mike Farrell. Burtt then addresses the ongoing investigation into the circumstances of Hayden Panettiere's death in Greenville, including questions surrounding Narcan on the scene and who supplied the drugs, drawing a parallel to the Matthew Perry case. She also discusses the broader conversation about child actor protections that Panettiere's death has reignited, with Anna Paquin among those speaking out. The segment closes with The Gentlemen's season three pickup on Netflix — and the swirling Meghan Markle casting rumor nobody has confirmed or denied — and a preview of the wave of 9/11 25th anniversary programming arriving across Nat Geo, ABC, CBS, Paramount+, and the History Channel.
