Holistically Healing From Lupus With Vinetta Brew #78

Author: Sarah Dawkins - Root Cause Healing and Natural Holistic Health Coach July 18, 2024 Duration: 42:53

Vinetta started her healing journey back in 2013, after struggling with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Sjogren’s syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome and other associated conditions since 1998. She shares with me how she healed herself, what her Rheumatologist shared with her and how she found that the illnesses were serving her. 00:00 Introduction01:02 Healing Lupus08:12 Lightbulb moment 14:07 Interesting visit with Rheumatologist19:50 Hydroxychloroquine information22:49 Lupus as a barometer29:07 Holding shame for illness35:06 Group support38:06 Do you want to get well?Vinetta´s bio and contact information.Having failed to conquer her condition, she sought the support of a Naturopath. It was the first time she had been able to really speak candidly about the difficulties she had been facing with the debilitating aspects of the disease, particularly the lack of energy. With the help of her naturopath she was able to review her diet and lifestyle and look at natural remedies that would help support her. The main culprit seemed to be gluten, once this was removed a gradual increase in energy returned and she noticed a significant reduction in phlegm and throat issues. The diet was just the springboard and created the right ecosystem to look at her life holistically. Vinetta trained with a Reiki master and started practicing Reiki regularly to help heal the less visible aspects of her condition, she began to listen daily to Louise Hay and her “You can heal your life” philosophy, as well as dipping into self-help books, practising yoga, kinesiology treatments and meditation practice. Fast forward to 2024, going against medical advice in a bid to free her body from the toxins of over 20 years of taking medications, Vinetta weaned herself off medications for good. Today, Vinetta no longer takes any medications, and her Rheumatologist was quite shocked and confused by the transformation in her health and reluctantly confirmed that the disease is in remission. Years of battling with joint pains, Sjogren’s syndrome, joint swelling, gut issues and chronic fatigue are finally a thing of the past. She now has energy to live a full and more rewarding life including running a cosmetic and homecare business with her husband. https://www.linkedin.com/in/vinettabrewdirectorregulatorycompliancehere2grow/

You'll find a focus on somatic practices and the underlying principles of natural recovery, all aimed at moving past simply coping and towards reclaiming a genuine sense of vitality. It’s a space for those ready to look deeper, questioning the root causes of imbalance and discovering a more integrated path to lasting wellness. Each episode builds on the idea that you are not just a patient to be managed, but an active participant in your own healing journey.
