Free Legal Clinics at Montreal Metro: Housing, Immigration & More
Juripops Free Legal Clinics in Montreal: Expert Advice for Tenants, Immigrants, and More
Juripop hosts its eleventh annual free legal clinics at Place-des-Arts station, running every Thursday in March. The timing coincides with Justice Month and lease renewals, with increased demand for immigration advice due to the end of the Quebec Experience Program. Last year, 51 volunteer lawyers provided 260 consultations, with tenants rights making up a quarter of them. This year, around 50 lawyers and notaries will offer 15-minute one-on-one sessions on various legal topics, including housing, immigration, family law, employment, estates, and traffic tickets. Organizers anticipate similar turnout and have added immigration expertise based on past requests.
