Concordia Stingers Womens Basketball Season Ends in Playoffs: Despite Early Lead, Stingers Fall to Laval in Close Game

The Concordia University Stingers womens basketball teams season concluded on February 25th with a tough 57-50 loss to the Université Laval Rouge et Or in the playoffs. The Stingers held the lead for most of the game but couldnt maintain it in the end. Serena Tchida, who earned player of the year honors, finished the season with a double-double, scoring eighteen points and grabbing fourteen rebounds. Several Stingers received postseason accolades, including Victoria Lawrence on the all-star second team and rookie Jeannette Umuhoza as rookie of the year.
