Tim Van Horn and Brodee Scott are joined by Memphis 901 FC Athletic Trainer Angie Ziolkowski.

Angie makes her second visit to the podcast and is a true friend of the show.  Catch her first visit here, where she talks about her job on the training ground, training room, and the pitch. This is her second season with the club.  Like the rest of the team, the COVID-19 shutdown has changed her daily routine.  Although she doesn't have practices and matches to monitor, some responsibilities remain.  Angie discusses how the staff and she monitor and advise on player health and wellness during this time.

Once practice can resume, Angie believes the sideline and the training room will require new habits.  She shares her thoughts on what could change when sports get the green light to return.

Angie's insight is proof she is a competent and a caring professional.  Not only is she quick-thinking on the pitch, she is also creative in a cooking pinch.  Brodee and Tim get a lesson in what to do when you're out of pancake syrup!

Tim and Brodee have a bit of soccer news as well.

The United States Women's National Team suffered a pair of setbacks in court last week.  Tune in for a review of those decisions, part of a case set for a June trial date.

One Manchester City star says if the club remain banned from the Champions League, he could simply walk away to a new team.  Tim and Brodee explain who could be seeking a better shot at European glory.

The Premier League seems to be weighing ALL options in an effort to complete this season.  One country has offered to host those matches.  Find out which one.

As this episode is released on Cinco de Mayo, it's appropriate we have a bit of news out of Liga MX.  The Mexican league, one of the most-watched in the United States, says it will suspend promotion and relegation for an extended period of time.

Finally, we wish our friends a safe and successfully reopening of their respective businesses.  It is our understanding that Don DeWeese's Gibson's Donuts is hoping to reopen around mid-May, and Seamus' The Brass Door is hoping for a reopening at the beginning of June.  Both gentlemen are part of the fabric of soccer in this region, and we can't wait to visit them very soon!

Thank you for listening.  Huge thanks to Memphis 901 FC Athletic Trainer Angie Ziolkowski.  For more episode, visit our website.  You can also catch us on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram.
