Season 2 Episode 1

Author: Monta S. Steagall July 24, 2022 Duration: 17:01
In season two the host will be reading from his second novel Pushed to Death. The fictional story centers around a group of women, who through circumstance find each other in small town USA. The group quickly decides they were brought together for a reason, a purpose that will change their lives if the plan works. A plan that involves a fictional serial killer, abusive spouses and in the end a chance for freedom. The story also brings back our three beloved detectives from season one. While their lives have moved on since the Defender of Children case they will be brought back together after one of the trio is gunned down. The twists and turns will keep you guessing, the topic will have you divided on which side you want to "win". In the end there will be those that feel like they won and some that know they lost but all will have their lives changed. Step into a world of shadows and suspense with My Words Our Journey, where author Monta S. Steagall gives voice to his own original tales. This isn't a typical narration podcast; it's a direct, intimate performance of gritty crime thrillers and dark fiction, crafted specifically for a mature audience. Each season is a self-contained journey into morally complex worlds, from the vigilant justice explored in "Defender of Children" to the fatal consequences in "Pushed to Death." You'll hear speculative twists in "What If?" and the dangerous irony of "Be Careful What You Wish For." The stories continue with later seasons like "The Lodging Place," which introduces adult content, and the chilling reckonings of "When Karma Kills." Monta reads every word himself, pulling you directly into the tension and atmosphere of each scene. Listening to this podcast feels like getting a private, unfiltered reading from the author's desk, where every character's motive and every dark turn is delivered with a personal touch. The narratives are raw and engaging, designed for those who appreciate fiction that doesn't shy away from the edges of human experience. So, if you're drawn to tales where justice is personal, choices have dire costs, and reality often wears a sinister tint, you'll find a compelling and consistently dark collection here.
