What's up new agers! We had a big storm happening while recording so please bear with us in the beginning of the episode, but the sound quality gets way better. We had a dope guest this episode: Please meet Kim Williams!

Kim Williams is a content creator and mom.  After searching to find single black moms that were podcasting and not finding any that were current, she decided to fill the gap by creating a podcast and building a community that not only supports each other online, but also offline. Kim is very passionate about educating single moms so that they can live the life they desire without feeling alone on the journey of Single Motherhood, which can become so isolating. Because of the platform, moms all around the world (single and married) have been able to change the way they think, implement strategies to improve their life and the life of their children, and make connections with other moms.

New Age Mamas is a conversation for a specific generation of parents. It’s a space where the unique challenges and aspirations of Gen Z and Millennial mothers are centered, moving beyond simple advice to explore the real work of reshaping family dynamics. This podcast digs into the simultaneous navigation of timeless parenting struggles and entirely modern dilemmas, all through the lens of conscious change. The core mission is about more than survival; it’s focused on the intentional breaking of generational cycles, the practical application of gentle parenting principles, and the essential practice of self-care. Episodes are built on shared experience, where listening often feels like connecting with a friend who gets it. You’ll hear honest discussions about pouring into ourselves as individuals so we can show up more fully for our families, and the power of building a supportive community. The dialogue here provides both knowledge and tangible resources, but its greater value is in fostering connection-reminding every mom that her journey, with its stumbles and triumphs, is part of a collective story.
