Season 3 Ep 19: Celebrating 3 Seasons of Serving it HOT!

Season 3 Ep 19: Celebrating 3 Seasons of Serving it HOT!

Author: Lisa Kuzman November 19, 2020 Duration: 27:17

When I launched my podcast in January, I had no idea what this year had in store. (Heck, I don't think any of us did!) But here I am, after three seasons, a whole 60 episodes, and loving it more than ever. And if that isn't cause for celebration, I don't know what is!

Season 4 of Serving it HOT will drop in January, but in the meantime, I wanted to finish off season 3 with something a little bit different. I've hand-selected 9 episodes to revisit — or maybe hear for the first time! — during the 9-week break.

Your holiday break listener's guide:

  • Season 1 Episode 12 with Brandon Love
  • Season 1 Episode 14 with Nick North
  • Season 2 Episode 4 with Prof Butler
  • Season 2 Episode 6 with Mama Yaya
  • Season 2 Episode 14 with Sarah Werner
  • Season 3 Episode 6 with Laura Slinn
  • Season 3 Episode 10 with Mai Kee
  • Season 3 Episode 12 with Swapna Patel
  • Season 3 Episode 16 with Tasha Booth

Aaaand just in case that's not enough to tide you over during the break... Let me highlight a few of the teaching episodes as well!

  • Season 1 Episode 20
  • Season 2 Episode 17
  • Season 3 Episode 3
  • Season 3 Episode 9

I want to thank each and every one of you who came on this podcast journey with me. Whether you left a review, sent me a message, or even just tuned in week after week, it has meant the world to me. I can't wait for you to join me — and maybe bring along a friend or two — for season 4. See you in 2021!

There's a quiet shift happening in how we think about authority and influence, and New Wave Leadership Podcast is right at the heart of it. Host Lisa Kuzman believes traditional, top-down leadership models have run their course, proving ineffective for today's complex world. Instead, this movement champions a much broader, more inclusive vision. Each episode digs into the real, often unspoken challenges that come with stepping into a role of influence, whether you're in a corner office, a community group, or simply leading your own life. The conversations here actively work to expand our definition of who gets to be a leader, arguing passionately for the necessity of diverse identities, perspectives, and lived experiences at the helm. You'll hear frank discussions about authenticity, the personal hurdles leaders navigate behind closed doors, and practical ideas for cultivating your own unique leadership identity without conforming to outdated standards. Tuning into this podcast feels like joining a necessary dialogue-one that moves beyond theory to explore what it genuinely means to show up and make an impact on your own terms.
