Season 9 Episode 1: What You Can Look Forward to This Season!

Author: Lisa Kuzman January 19, 2023 Duration: 14:31

Welcome to 2023 and season NINE of the New Wave Leadership podcast! True to form, I'm continuing my trend of changing things up & keeping it interesting.

For the first time, I'm in the position where I can give you a roadmap of where we'll be going over the course of this season. So I want to kick off season 9 by giving you that overview, including who you're going to hear from over the next few weeks, and what some of the topics are going to be.

But that's not all! I also want to let you know a little bit about my upcoming free virtual retreat day on January 20th.

This evert is for you if:

  • The idea of annual planning leaves you feeling burnt out
  • You want to run your life, team, and/or business differently this year
  • You're in search of a plan that doesn't feel like an assignment

Registration does close the day this episode goes live, but you can get more details and sign up here:

See you next week!

There's a quiet shift happening in how we think about authority and influence, and New Wave Leadership Podcast is right at the heart of it. Host Lisa Kuzman believes traditional, top-down leadership models have run their course, proving ineffective for today's complex world. Instead, this movement champions a much broader, more inclusive vision. Each episode digs into the real, often unspoken challenges that come with stepping into a role of influence, whether you're in a corner office, a community group, or simply leading your own life. The conversations here actively work to expand our definition of who gets to be a leader, arguing passionately for the necessity of diverse identities, perspectives, and lived experiences at the helm. You'll hear frank discussions about authenticity, the personal hurdles leaders navigate behind closed doors, and practical ideas for cultivating your own unique leadership identity without conforming to outdated standards. Tuning into this podcast feels like joining a necessary dialogue-one that moves beyond theory to explore what it genuinely means to show up and make an impact on your own terms.
