India continued diplomatic outreach with its neighbours as Ambassador Naveen Srivastava met Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal to strengthen bilateral cooperation and reaffirm longstanding ties.

Separately, India signalled a “forward-looking approach” to rebuild relations with Bangladesh, focusing on trade, connectivity and people-to-people engagement following recent political changes in Dhaka.

Meanwhile, A car breached security at the Delhi Legislative Assembly, entered through Gate 2, briefly halted, left a bouquet near the Speaker’s office, and exited before being traced. The driver has been detained and the vehicle seized. Authorities are investigating the serious security lapses.
