The storm caused flooding, damaged homes, and left 1 million without power, with Vietnam deploying 268,000 soldiers for rescue efforts.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bhutan to inaugurate the Punatsangchhu-II Hydropower Project and review India-Bhutan railway projects.
