#359: Trivia II (Hosted by Zac Rose)

Sandro Falce and Zach Adams host Oldie But A Goodie, a film podcast built on a wonderfully simple, yet endlessly connective premise. Their weekly reviews roam the entire cinematic landscape, but with a unique rule: each movie they discuss must have some tangible link to the one they covered the week before. This creates a fascinating, unpredictable chain reaction through film history, genres, and behind-the-scenes connections, making every episode a surprise. The core of their conversation is the final verdict-determining if the film in question is merely an "oldie" or truly a "goodie." They’ve structured their exploration around deep dives into specific years, having previously focused entire seasons on the notable films of 1994, 1984, 1987, and 2001, offering both nostalgic trips and critical reassessments. The tone is laid-back, comedic, and deeply informed, feeling like hanging out with two friends who love to unpack movies without taking themselves too seriously. Listeners of this podcast will find themselves rediscovering forgotten gems, questioning beloved classics, and enjoying the hosts' camaraderie as they follow the thread from one film to the next, building a sprawling and personal map of movie history one conversation at a time.
