Author: Bo Bounds March 22, 2023 Duration: 28:03
ESPN college football analyst Tom Luginbill joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking college football and the NFL. Tom starts the conversation talking about former Ole Miss lineman Laremy Tunsil and the new contract he signed in the NFL. That leads to a discussion about how the NFL contract model differs from other professional sports and why Tom believes the NIL model is not operating the way the NFL model does. Tom talks a little SEC football and the new marriage in College Station as Jimbo Fisher and new offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino are looking to revamp the Aggies offense. Tom gives his thoughts on how the two personalities will mesh and what might happen if things don't work as smoothly as Texas A&M fans would like. Tom takes a look at some of the new offensive coordinators around the SEC and college football, from Garrett Riley at Clemson to Kevin Barbay at Mississippi State, and outlines the similarities and differences in their offenses. Tom talks about what Auburn will look like now that offensive guru Hugh Freeze is back in the SEC. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
