Oxford restauranteur Alex Kiame, Jr. (AJ) joins the show live from Finch & Kelly in Oxford talking about his family's longstanding relationship with the town and it's people. AJ discusses his father opening one of the first wine and spirits stores in town, Kiame Package Store, in 1966, and how that has evolved into AJ opening two of the hottest restaurants in Oxford: The Sipp and YUGO. AJ talks about the unique experience of opening a restaurant in a college town as COVID unfolded and how they worked through that as a business and a family.
