Dave talks about how more than 70% of SEC conference games were won by the team with the best recruiting and talks about how the coaches affect these numbers as well. Bo and Dave dive into a head coaches ability to staff and the politics that surround the hiring and networking processes. Dave talks about the fact that it takes time for coaches to staff and schools usually do not allow enough time to create the staff they need to succeed. Bo and Dave go into talking about Steve Sarkisian as a head coach and an outlier in the logic due to his ability to staff but not win the big games. Dave thinks that Sarkisian is great at getting the right pieces but cannot put the puzzle together. Talent is not an issue for the Texas head coach, but Dave thinks the issue is the coach himself.
