Former Major League and Mississippi State pitcher Paul Maholm joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about getting hit in the face by a ball in the minor leagues and what his expectations were for the MLB live in the BankPlus Studio. Paul talks about what it was like to get hit in the face by a ball and try to hide his injuries so that he could continue to play. Paul tells Bo that after the hit he was pitching with double vision out of one eye and didn't seek help until he started letting up a lot of runs because of the impairment. Bo asks Paul about his experience getting called up to the major league and what he expected when he finally played in the big parks. Paul talks about his first game in the Majors and how his first pitch bounced in front of the plate.
