8-22-23 Mike Detillier (Full): Michael Thomas Possibilities, Jameis Winston's Future

New Orleans Saints and LSU insider Mike Detillier joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest saying if Michael Thomas can still make an impact, the biggest threat for the Saints and the importance of the center on the offensive line live in the BankPlus Studio. Mike talks about Michael Thomas' ability to still catch 75 to 85 passes and talk about his potential in playing with Chris Olave. Mike tells Bo that he knows the 2019 Michael Thomas won't be back but says that with Chris Olave and Rasheed Shahid, Thomas just needs to be able to make contested catches and move the sticks like he is built for. Bo and Mike talks about if Jameis Winston is still good enough to start for other NFL teams and Mike says that Winston has starting QB experience that could help other teams next season if he is traded or leaves. Mike talks about the biggest threat for the Saints in the NFC South and believes that the Atlanta Falcons are built to cause problems for New Orleans. Mike breaks down the roster for Atlanta and talks about the talent the team has acquired at running back, receiver, and tight end. The Falcons have beefed up their defensive unit with experience and talent and Mike says that the production of Desmond Ridder could decide how competitive the division is for the Saints. Bo asks Mike about Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask down in Tampa Bay and Mike says that Baker is the better player right now because we haven't seen anything special from Trask in the league so far. Mike talks about the importance of the center on the offensive line and believes the return of Ryan Jensen for the Bucs could prove to be a difference maker during the season. Bo and Mike switch over to the NFC West and Mike talks about how Brock Purdy is the starting QB for the 49ers and that they will probably start trying to look for the most value for Trey Lance in the near future. Mike mentions the talent Seattle has acquired at wide receiver and running back and believes the Seahawks could push San Francisco in the division. Mike also mentions that Jamaal Adams is back for Seattle and that he could make a difference this season with his style of play. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
