The Climate Report - 11/10/22

Author: KVMR-FM November 11, 2022 Duration: 29:22

The Climate Report for 11/10/22 is the fourth of a multi-part special series on a just-released ground breaking new report on the Sierra Nevada region and the impacts of climate change.

The first ever comprehensive and scientifically-backed “Sierra Nevada Regional Climate Vulnerability Assessment” was recently released, and it’s a multi-year effort by the Sierra Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Partnership (Sierra CAMP), an arm of the Sierra Business Council.

For this fourth special edition Climate Report on the new analysis, we dive into the findings of the triple-bottom line report:

- the impacts on our physical environment

- the impacts to our people and population

- the impacts to our regional economy

In our next show we wrap up our special report series and will discuss how Nevada County scored on our capacity to handle these impacts.

Tune in to the next Climate Report on Thursday November 24th, when we continue to dive in to the most important parts of the new SNRCVA report.
