The Climate Report - 9/22/22

Author: KVMR-FM September 23, 2022 Duration: 29:31

The Climate Report for 9/22/22 is the first of a multi-part special series on a just-released ground breaking new report on the Sierra Nevada region and the impacts of climate change.

The first ever comprehensive and scientifically-backed “Sierra Nevada Regional Climate Vulnerability Assessment” was recently released, and it’s a multi-year effort by the Sierra Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Partnership (Sierra CAMP), an arm of the Sierra Business Council.

For this first special edition Climate Report on the new analysis, we set the scene by talking a little about the players, programs, and activities behind the report:

- Sierra Business Council

- Sierra Nevada Energy Watch

- Sierra CAMP

- the genesis of the new SNRCVA report

Tune in to the next Climate Report on Thursday October 13th, when we dive in to the most important parts of the new SNRCVA report. You’ll want to hear how the region is predicted to be impacted by climate change. News you’ll only find here.
