GRIT EPIQ: The Intelligent Home Gym of the Future

Author: Draper Startup House Accelerator August 23, 2021 Duration: 40:54

Ep #028 - GRIT Boxing and their new product GRIT EPIQ is taking at-home fitness to the next level, with a smarter, more versatile, AI-paired, second generation of connected fitness, bringing together users like never before.

On this episode, we are joined by the Co-Founder of GRIT, Dylan Zanker, as well as Samuel Garcia, Principal at Amplo Ventures.

GRIT Boxing started as a physical, social, fun, unique boxing studio in Manhattan and spread like wildfire. With their "club-like'' atmosphere, top-tier trainers, and full liquor bar, GRIT quickly made a name for itself in New York City. They are now launching their in-home product the GRIT EPIQ, the intelligent home gym of the future.

The pairing of the physical aspects along with their two way communication with trainers, a "clubhouse" style communication before and after workouts and their virtual bar, GRIT EPIQ truly has all you need. You can join in their fundraise at republic.co/grit or reach Dylan at dylan@gritboxing.com.

Amplo Ventures is industry and stage agnostic. Their mission is to help support entrepreneurs building globally ambitious companies that matter. If you think you would be a good fit for Amplo Ventures you can reach out to Sam Garcia at sam@amplovc.com or learn more at amplovc.com.

Ever wondered what really happens when an entrepreneur sits down across from a potential investor? Pitch Please pulls back the curtain on those high-stakes, usually private, discussions. Each episode features an actual pitch session between a startup founder and venture capitalists, recorded in full so you can hear the exact questions, the pauses, the pushback, and the passion. After the pitch, the hosts from Draper Startup House Accelerator break it all down, analyzing the strengths of the business model, the holes in the logic, and the subtle dynamics most people miss. It’s a masterclass in real-time negotiation and evaluation. You’re not just a passive listener; you’re invited to weigh the evidence yourself and decide if you’d write that check. This podcast goes beyond theory, offering a raw, unfiltered look at the anatomy of a funding conversation. From the opening hook to the final handshake (or rejection), you get the complete picture of what separates a promising idea from a fundable venture. Tune in for an authentic, sometimes gritty, always educational journey into the heart of venture capital, one pitch at a time.
