Bill Enright Interview | Fantasy Football Unlimited Podcast
Bill Enright has spent more than two decades helping shape the fantasy football industry—and his journey started in seventh grade with a love for the game that eventually became an obsession and a career.
On this episode of the Fantasy Football Unlimited Podcast, Bill joins Kevin Murray to share his story from the beginning, including his early days with FFChamps.com, hosting fantasy football radio for Patriots.com, becoming one of the industry's most accurate fantasy analysts, working alongside Jim Cramer on Bull Market Fantasy, and eventually rising into an executive leadership role overseeing fantasy and sports gambling at Sports Illustrated.
Bill shares how the fantasy football industry has evolved throughout his career, what he learned making the transition from analyst and broadcaster to media executive, and how fantasy sports has turned into a lifestyle for him.
The conversation then turns to one of Bill's biggest projects yet: helping establish National Fantasy Football Draft Day and bringing the fantasy community together Circa Stadium Swim in Las Vegas for Draft Nation. Bill takes us behind the scenes of the inaugural event, what they learned, memorable moments from the weekend, and the long-term vision for turning fantasy draft season into an even bigger celebration across the country.
Kevin and Bill also dive into the heart of fantasy football: league traditions, rivalries, live drafts, friendships and the experiences that keep leagues together for decades.
After a career spent covering, analyzing and building within the fantasy football industry, Bill reflects on the seventh grader who first fell in love with the game—and what fantasy football means to him today.
