Britt offers an approach to climate anxiety, called “Transformational Resilience,” that focuses on channeling emotional distress into meaningful action and care, rather than resorting to denial or returning to an unhelpful baseline.

She and Thomas also explore how climate action is like a relay race, where action is sustained over time by passing the baton, and how acting in alignment with environmental values reduces cognitive dissonance and fosters emotional well-being.

Britt is the author of Generation Dread, a bestselling book on climate anxiety, and a leading voice in the emerging field of climate psychology. She’s received multiple honors, including the 2025 American Climate Leadership Award (Runner-Up) and the 2023 Canadian Eco-Hero Award. As a TED and World Economic Forum speaker, Britt brings global attention to the emotional toll of the ecological crisis.

Thomas Hübl, PhD, is a renowned teacher, author, and international facilitator who works within the complexity of systems and cultural change, integrating the core insights of the great wisdom traditions and mysticism with the discoveries of science. Since the early 2000s, he has led large-scale events and courses on the healing of collective trauma.

In addition to Attuned, he is the author of Healing Collective Trauma: A Process for Integrating Our Intergenerational and Cultural Wounds. He has served as an advisor and guest faculty for universities and organizations, as a coach for CEOs and organizational leaders, and is currently a visiting scholar at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University.
