The Aesir vs the Vanir, an epic battle between the two tribes of Norse Gods that was a defining point in Norse mythology. The Aesir, known for their strength and bravery, fought a straightforward war as only they knew, with great weapons and brute force. The Vanir however, who favoured magic and trickery, used the more subtle means of their powers.
