ASO TANDWA (Pretoria, SA) Aspiring Producer and DJ making a name for himself in the Afro House Scene. Aso Tandwa Famously known for his track “Ukhona ft Lizwi" which rubbed mix sets of Oskido, Black coffee, Shimza and Euphonik, with over 5 remixes from different artists like the Durban Duo Kususa, Chronical Deep. Fisto De Soul. Including his last Project "Koloi ft St Plaatjies” released as the first track in a compilation by Celsius degree Records from Kenya. Original from Eastern Cape currently based in Pretoria, motivated by love for music from a young age and passion advocating for Afro house as he feels that its being pushing to the corner by the South African mainstream while it's celebrated internationally. He opened a record label called iTolo Music ran with his colleagues which they use as a platform to create a space for Afro house and show case other artists from different house genre such the popular Amapiano, Soulful, Deep. Gqom etc. This efforts has spreads to set mixes on YouTube inviting the likes of Louis Lunch, se Julz, Just_Njabs and others. As resident DJ on DRUMS RADIO based in the UK, he has gained a reputation for being tasteful in his selection of sharing music from a variety of cultures and house genres, still keeping an authentic feel of his Afro root. His other programs involves event hosting and collaboration, including Stockfontain, Hangout with Aso and Friends, the latest one being Konnekt with Aso and se Julz. With His latest EP called Dream Chasers featuring St Plaatjies and Xola Lagu. He is excited to see what the future holds and hopes to build a lengthy relationship with his team and future partners on his journey of becoming a star in Afro house
