R&R. The Murder of Sasha Marsden

R&R. The Murder of Sasha Marsden

Author: redrumpodcast April 23, 2026 Duration: 33:24
I’m taking a week off for holiday so wanted to share a Rewind & Repeat episode of one of the most shared episodes from the back catalogue. I’ll be back next week with 2 brand new episodes x At 16 years old, Sasha decided she wanted to try and make a bit of extra money in her spare time. She thought she’d lucked out when she got a message on Facebook offering her a job working at a nearby hotel in Blackpool as a cleaner. Initially, Sasha’s mum and dad were a bit hesitant to let her go. She’d been through a pretty turbulent time through her teenage years but she was finally starting to settle down and started focusing on her future. And so, both her mum and dad said she could go- but on one condition; her dad would take her there and pick her up after her first shift to ensure she was safe. But it wasn’t that first shift they needed to be concerned about. It was the second shift, after they assumed Sasha would be safe, that she would suffer a brutal fate -and the perpetrator had practiced just 3 weeks before. So he knew exactly what he needed, to make sure Sasha would never escape.
