Third World is an influential Jamaican reggae fusion band formed in Kingston in 1973. They are one of the longest-standing reggae groups in history, known for blending reggae with soul, funk, disco, and pop. Their biggest commercial success came in 1978 with the hit "Now That We Found Love" (an O'Jays cover) from the album Journey to Addis.Other iconic songs include "96° in the Shade", "Try Jah Love" (co-written and produced by Stevie Wonder), and "Reggae Ambassador". The band has received 9 Grammy Award nominations throughout their career, most recently for the 2019 album More Work to be Done.
