Micronutrients are essential vitamins and minerals that our bodies require in small amounts to function properly. The vitamins included are A, B, C, D, E, and K, as well as minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, and iodine. Each micronutrient matters and they are unique in their role in our overall health from supporting our immune system to bone health and beyond. The goal is to aim for a balanced diet that includes a variety of nutrient-rich foods in order to get the micronutrients we need.
