Special Guest: Sir Tim Rice - O60s/70s Vice-President

There’s a whole world of cricket that thrives long after many have hung up their boots, and Silver Stumps-the Over 60s/70s Cricket Podcast is your direct line to it. Co-hosted by seasoned county veterans Grant Timms and Trevor Lee, this isn't just about nostalgia; it's a lively dive into the current, competitive arena of masters cricket. Each episode brings the sound of leather on willow from matches where players in their sixties and seventies are still fiercely competing over those twenty-two yards. You'll hear from fellow cricketers sharing their stories and strategies, frank discussions about the unique challenges and joys of playing later in life, and practical advice that covers everything from fitness to technique for extending your own time at the crease. It’s a community conversation, captured in a podcast, that celebrates the enduring spirit of the game. Whether you're still playing, coaching, or simply love cricket, Grant and Trevor offer a perspective you won't find anywhere else, full of camaraderie, insight, and a genuine passion for ensuring the game continues at every age.
