"Small Moments Make You Who You Are" with Kita Alexander

"Small Moments Make You Who You Are" with Kita Alexander

Author: The Hits March 22, 2025 Duration: 35:07

I'm a huge Kita Alexander fan and I was so excited to talk with her on the podcast this week. She is not only a pop star who is currently touring with Dua Lipa in Australia (and is about to be here in Aotearoa) but also a mum trying to juggle both a career and being there for her kids.

We spoke about how she came to terms with the fact that her career was going to take a hit when she had kids, but also how she feels like she's come back into it with skills that give her a unique edge. She also gave us some nuggets of information on how she slows it down and speaks about her unique connection to spirituality and how it helps her in all areas of her life.

About the show:

A time to chill, wind down and join a space that inspires people to live authentically and slow it down. A hub for living more consciously and incorporating mindful practices and rituals in an achievable way. The aim is to showcase guests who have chosen to live a more balanced lifestyle mixed in with experts who offer tangible tips and tricks to feel a little more zen.

There’s a particular feeling that comes with finding a quiet corner in a loud world, and that’s the space Slow It Down aims to create. Hosted by PJ Harding and presented by The Hits Podcast Network, this weekly podcast arrives every Sunday as an intentional pause. It’s less about adding another task to your list and more about carving out a genuine moment for yourself. You’ll hear thoughtful dialogues that weave together themes of personal well-being, cultural shifts, and practical self-improvement, all with a gentle, reflective tone. The second season continues this mission, offering fresh conversations with a variety of inspiring guests who share insights on living more mindfully. This isn’t a lecture or a rigid guide; it’s a companion for anyone feeling overscheduled and under-connected. Each episode serves as a gentle nudge to step back, breathe, and consider what matters. Tuning into this podcast feels like a small, weekly reset-a chance to unwind your thoughts and reconnect with a calmer perspective amidst the rush of daily life.
