Sophie Hurley - Honest Wolf

Sophie Hurley - Honest Wolf

Author: The Hits November 1, 2022 Duration: 46:04

Sophie Hurley is first and foremost one of my oldest and dearest friends. We went to primary & high school together, boarded, played hockey and even rowed together (story for another day… I was rubbish)

I didn’t just get her on to reminisce over the past though, I got her on to talk about her incredibly successful business Honest Wolf she started with her husband Sam. The brand is responsible for a range of beautiful woollen bags, sourced from their farm out of Hunterville, New Zealand. We talk about her big move from city to farm, making friends in the middle of nowhere, starting your own business and raising young kids at the same time. Keep an eye on our Insta page later this week as I will be doing a give-away of one of their gorgeous bags and follow the guys here https://www.honestwolf.co.nz to check them out yourself xx

There’s a particular feeling that comes with finding a quiet corner in a loud world, and that’s the space Slow It Down aims to create. Hosted by PJ Harding and presented by The Hits Podcast Network, this weekly podcast arrives every Sunday as an intentional pause. It’s less about adding another task to your list and more about carving out a genuine moment for yourself. You’ll hear thoughtful dialogues that weave together themes of personal well-being, cultural shifts, and practical self-improvement, all with a gentle, reflective tone. The second season continues this mission, offering fresh conversations with a variety of inspiring guests who share insights on living more mindfully. This isn’t a lecture or a rigid guide; it’s a companion for anyone feeling overscheduled and under-connected. Each episode serves as a gentle nudge to step back, breathe, and consider what matters. Tuning into this podcast feels like a small, weekly reset-a chance to unwind your thoughts and reconnect with a calmer perspective amidst the rush of daily life.
