Just slighty before the events that would become the Mothman saga began. Another encoutner would happen along a West Virgina road near Parkersburg. Even though it has little to do with mothman is often rolled into the story. The simple reason is becasue Keel started researching this case along side Mothman and decided to include it in the book. This is the story of Woodrow Derenberger and his friend Indrid Cold.
