Durante la guerra, vivía en un pequeño pueblo en las montañas. Todos los días, veíamos pasar a los soldados y escuchábamos los aviones. La vida era difícil, pero intentábamos mantener la normalidad en medio del caos. Mis hermanos y yo jugábamos en el campo y desde allí escuchábamos el ruido de las bombas. Al final, nos acostumbramos a eso.
Un día, mientras trabajábamos en el huerto, llegaron las tropas enemigas. Nos escondimos en el sótano, temblábamos de miedo. Escuchamos disparos y vimos cómo se llevaban a algunos vecinos. Pasaron algunos días hasta que finalmente pudimos salir a la calle. Cuando lo hicimos, descubrimos que una parte muy grande del pueblo ya no existía.
A pesar de todo, sobrevivimos. Hace poco, he vuelto al pueblo y he visto los lugares donde crecimos. He hablado con aquellos que se quedaron y hemos recordado esos tiempos tan difíciles. He contado estas historias a mis hijos y ellos no pueden creerlas.
