Ronald L. Richter Jr. is a distinguished legal malpractice and medical malpractice attorney from Charleston, South Carolina. A top-scoring graduate from the University of South Carolina School of Law, he holds the highest certification from the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys and was named a Super Lawyer in 2015.
Before becoming an attorney, Richter worked as a shipyard pipefitter, an experience that shaped his professional philosophy of hard work, honesty, and integrity. He began his legal career in a small firm handling complex cases and established a solo practice in 1997 focusing on medical malpractice and serious injuries. He later formed a partnership with Eric S. Bland, combining their distinct legal styles.
